This Feature Requires Xfinity Internet

About a year ago, I dropped Xfinity Internet and went to a fiber service. I still have TV and phone service. Everything worked fine til about a month ago. Now, if I say Netflix to the remote, a banner comes up and it says I need Xfinity Internet for this feature to work. Same banner appears when I say HBO Max. I also lost the feature to start movies early on HBO, etc., but this feature still works on MGM+. I now have to use the app on my smart TV to watch Netflix. My bedroom TV is not smart, so no Netflix there, it used to work. Tech comes out. His suggestion was to buy an add on box for my bedroom TV or go back to their internet.

I am paying a lot of money for these services and don't think it's fair for them to tell me I need to add another box and or go back to their internet.

Some features of the Xfinity X1 Platform rely on our internet service, so you won't have the same options when you switch to another internet provider. I'm happy to see if we have any awesome promotions to get your internet back :).

@skytrooper1 You should see a bell icon at the top of the page for your notifications and to the left of that, you'll see a text bubble, which is the chat icon. You may need to be signed in for that.
