Slow XG2v2-P TV Cable Box

A Xfinity technician replaced my existing XG1v4-A TV cable box with an XG2v2-P TV cable box.  It is the master box.  I have two other TV cable boxes.  This new XG2v2-P box is very slow in loading and changing TV channels and responding to commands from the remote.  Is there a faster, alternative TV cable box than the XG2v2-P?

Good evening Rick_09357. We can certainly look into this further for you. Before we look into changing the box, we could certainly complete some troubleshooting and diagnostic checks. What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far?

The only thing I could think of trying was to unplug the new XG2v2-P TV cable box, wait a minute, then plug it back in.  That did nothing.  This new cable box is in the living room.  It turns out that I have a second XG2v2-P TV cable box in the master bedroom, which is not frequently used.  It has the same slow behavior as the new box in the living room that I didn't notice before.  With my third TV cable box (XiD-P), whenever I press the remote for going back or pressing the number of a channel, the response is immediate.  With the XG2v2-P box, there is a 2-3 second delay before the TV responds to the command from the remote.

This doesn't sound like much, but during football season when a game goes to commercial, I switch to another game.  With the previous cable box, the response was quick.  Now it takes an annoyingly long time to move to another channel.  What other options are there for the master TV cable box that are available at a Xfinity store?
