PR150BNM remote control

I've got an Xfinity PR150BNM settop box and I want to hide it in my ceiling.  This means I won't have line-of-sight for the remote.  I could purchase an IR blaster to forward my remote signal to the settop box, but this would introduce more wires.  My Smart TV allows for HDMI-CEC and has an ethernet port.  Is there a way to control this settop box using either of those ports?

If I can't use these ports, is there another settop box that I can use to get this functionality?  I'm not looking to upgrade or spend more money to do this.

Change it out for an X1 XG2, unless you’re making account changes, it’s a box for box swap

@CCAndrew Does it matter than I'm not an X1 subscriber?  So, XG2 has HDMI-CEC for routing remote control signals?  I intend to use my Smart TVs remote and not the STB remote, since my Smart TV has a fully loaded feature-set.

I suggested the X1 box because it doesn’t have to be line of sight to work with a Comcast remote

Well turns out under my plan XG2 isn't a box for box swap with PR150.

That’s why I prefaced my statement with, unless you’re making account changes. Going from legacy equipment to X1 is an account change
