Not getting channel 1261 for Nationals broadcasts on my TiVo—is this new channel an IPTV channel?

I live in Washington DC, and tried to tune into channel 1261 to see the Washington Nationals without success.  I have a TiVo with a cablecard.  Can someone from Comcast tell me whether this new channel is an IPTV channel, and therefore will not be available to watch on my TiVo?  Or is this an issue that can be solved with an update either to the TiVo channels list or by something else that Comcast can do?

Yes, I have the same question in Seattle for the Mariners. 1261 is the assigned channel, but it isn't yet working.

I'm in same situation for the Nationals. I talked to an Xfinity agent and apparently the problem is I would have to upgrade to the next higher tier of tv package to get the baseball channel. I can't confirm this will fix the problem because I didn't make the upgrade. I'm not inclined to pay extra to get baseball games that used to be included in my current package.

In my case, the channel is showing up on the Xfinity Stream app as one that I can access, so I have a different issue.  On the other thread, I’m pressing them to tell me whether it’s an IPTV channel.  I can’t use Stream because I have FiOS internet, not Xfinity.  I will probably just pay the $100 to Nationals.TV.

My post on the TV thread was answered by Xfinity.  They said it was extremely likely the channel was IPTV, as that’s usually the case with channels 1000+.
