New plan with cablecard

Our contract just expired, and naturally the prices went up significantly. I see in my offers the same service we have (1200 Mbps internet and 200+ channels), but for some reason it says the cablecard has to be returned for this plan to work. Is there a way to use this offer and keep the cablecard? For some reason it says I also need to replace my X1 boxes with...X1 boxes. Besides the higher fee of $7.50/month instead of $5/month, what is the difference between my current X1 boxes and the new ones?

Hi, thanks so much for posting! We appreciate you taking the time to do so. You're in the right place for help with your bill/plan! I wanted to share this link with you: https://comca.st/3F21gLG. It lists the differences between our different models of X1 equipment. I also want to let you know that you're welcome to keep your CableCard, even when you change plans. Do you have just one TiVo box then and the rest are X1? We're here to answer/address all of your questions and we can help you complete the plan changes as well.

@XfinityMorgan thank you for your reply. We currently use one CableCard and 3 X1 boxes. If the boxes must be replaced, that's understandable, but we'd like to keep the CableCard as well. Is there any way to progress through the online ordering process, or does it need to be accomplished with a phone representative or in person visit?

If you're content with current X1 boxes, you're not required to swap those out either. You can keep your CableCard and your 3 X1 boxes, no problem! We can help you carry out the plan changes right here. Would you mind posting a screenshot of the package you're looking to get into?

@XfinityMorgan thanks for the quick reply. Here's the plan I'm looking to get. As far as I can tell, it's identical to my current service, but with autopay, and it's less than my current plan.

There are no image insert buttons for me in the editor (same as this post here: https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/customer-service/forum-editor-image-movie-and-link-icons-are-missing/6154a5e10bcff942ed6cf8ac) so I uploaded the screenshot here: https://imgur.com/a/kxfVTqZ.

Let's have our team pull your account up and see what we can do regarding the equipment.  To send the requested information:
  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support"
there. As you are typing a drop-down list appears.
  • Select "Xfinity Support" from that list. An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
