Need to re-pair cable card after replacing hard drive in Tivo
I need to re-pair the cable card after replacing the hard drive in my Tivo Bolt. I do not get the Host ID or Data ID in the Cablecard(tm) Pairing section because it is stuck initializing. The Conditional Access section shows Con: Yes and Val: I. I've tried rebooting, emoving and reinserting the card and redoing guided setup multiple times to no avail.

I'm no expert, but I suspect that it won't be possible to pair the card again without a Host ID (all card types) and, for Motorola & Arris cards, a Data ID. I'm guessing you need to figure out why the box is "stuck initializing" and get it to complete that process.

Hello @user_iijlix thank you for reaching out, following what @BruceW has said. We will need a host ID to try to pair the cable card again. You may need to reach out to Tivo support to see if you can get it stuck out of the initializing phase.
