Is it okay to sell Xfinity remote? (ebay, etc.)
I was told that I did not need to include the remote control or cables with my cable box return. Is it perfectly legal to attempt to sell these on eBay or another online marketplace?
Are they no longer considered property of Xfinity if I was told to keep them? Thanks.

Greetings, @bruelas! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum about our X1 Voice Remotes. I can confirm that you do not need to return your remote when you return your cable box. If you do bring it in with your cable box, it can be refurbished and given to another customer down the road, but you can also recycle it or pass it on to a friend or family member who is able to use it. I have seen posts on eBay featuring our remotes before, but I'm not sure if those are from authorized resellers, or just private parties.

I'm going to assume that answer implies that I won't be breaking any rules by selling Comcast/Xfinity remotes and cables that I no longer need. Thanks for the response.
