How to unlink my peacock after cancelling my xfinity service

I am trying to remove my peacock account from xfinity but when I go to my manage my subscriptions it says I need to log out of my current account so it won’t actually let me unlink or even cancel my account through peacock as they say it needs to be done through xfinity. I am no longer an xfinity customer so I believe this is the issue I’m facing. Please help.
