HDHomeRun PRIME, CableCard Paired but Conditional Access Not Staged so no Channels
I found another poster on here about 3 months ago that seems to have the same problem I'm having. I got my CableCARD from xfinity (that was not straightforward). I then attempted to get the card paired to my device through cablecardactivation.xsp.comcast.net. When I did this, however, it just kept saying it couldn't find my account even though my account number was correct and my phone was correct. Eventually I called 1-877-405-2298 and eventually talked to one person who had to send me to the cablecard department. The person there DID pair the cablecard, as I can see my HDHomerun Prime has no blinking lights now. However, every time I scan for channels I only find channel "995 EAS" which is an emergency service channel, which I suspect has no restrictions. When I check the Conditional access details for the card, it shows that the CA Time is waiting for update... and the status shows as "Not Staged" as the poster with the problem before seemed to have. The person waited on the phone for me for a WHILE before he essentially gave up and said he would "call me back to see how it was going" (he never did). When I check MORE Details I see that there was an ErrorCount of 2. The last error time was today, the last error command was 438. IPPV is not supported, it is a 1 way apparently. So, I'm trying to figure out what is going on here. Do I need to get another CableCARD?

The agent called me back late on Saturday, awesome. It seems that sending the pairing signal again did the trick. I could not use the website because it could never find my account, so maybe if someone else runs into the same problem with the HDHomerun and a CableCARD (Cisco type) then maybe you just need another ping.
