Error Code: APPS 04036

I receive Error Code APPS 04036 when attempting to load the ESPN+ app. The app will attempt to open, show the error code, then shut down. How can this issue be resolved?

Hello @user_i9evlf are you able to share more details about the situation? Are you using the ESPN+ app from an X1 box or using another device? Such as a Smart TV or cell phone?

The error given is a general connectivity error and may be resolved by performing a System Refresh. Just say " System Refresh" into your X1 remote, and follow the prompts. Let us know if this helps resolve the issue for you.

I am having the exact same problem and as per instructions, restarted the cable box. That did not resolve the issue.
