DC50X box will not power on both power adapter and box have been swapped

I have a DC50X box which stopped working. I have swapped with another known good box and have also swapped the power adapter plus checked power to the adapter jack. Green light comes on sometimes for a few seconds then goes out.

Hi there @user_ebeed4! Thanks for posting to the forums. Those DC50X are pretty old now, we offer different models now, including ones with HDMI ports for newer TV's. Based on your post, sounds like the equipment is going to need to be replaced. We can help with swapping them out if you'd like--just start a peer-to-peer chat with us.


1. In the top right corner, you'll see a little chat icon. Click this "Peer to peer chat" icon or follow  https://comca.st/3n8hHxz
2. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
3. In the 'To' line, type "Xfinity Support" there. A drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list (an "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line)
4. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
5. Press Enter to send it. An official employee, such as myself or whoever is first available, will respond.


Please include your name, the account holder name as it appears on the account (if different), and the current service address. Looking forward to helping out!
