Verified Caller ID
Can there be an option for Verified Caller ID callers only so the rest of the those robo and scammer calls don't ring?

Hello, @67ccacct. Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here on the Xfinity Forums with your concerns.
The Verified Caller ID list is an automated function and is not something where customers can manually add numbers to the list. As such, restricting calls to only numbers on that list is not an available option.
On the other hand, you can visit: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/phone-quick-reference-guide to see what other options you have to help prevent spam calls. There is also an option at the very bottom of this page where you can provide feedback. We always appreciate customers submitting their thoughts or ideas on how we can better our available features! :)

thanks, I know about the about the other options and I do not want to manually add numbers. My question is if they are not verified why let these calls go through?

Verified does not work. I received 16 calls today about “this is your icloud account suspicious activity” from different numbers with my cities prefix all were marked Verified.

@ComcastTambrey
I looked up the 'V' that is appearing in front of some caller id number in the past few months. I saw your post here but have an issue with the explanation of the Verified Id process. When I call the numbers with the 'V' I always get the recording " the number you have called is not valid". To me that means its a robo/spoof/spam call so what the point of the 'verified process' since these are not actually valid numbers? Help me understand please and thank you
Here is what I found on line...
Comcast is launching a new feature, labeling calls to landlines proven not to be robocalls or using caller ID spoofing. The new label will be a letter "V" that will show up in the caller ID of some of Comcast's customers if the company has been able to confirm that the call is actually coming from the telephone number that's showing up on the display.
Those who subscribe to Comcast Business Voice, Business VoiceEdge Select and Xfinity Voice will see the new "V" label on certain calls starting today.
