Spam Blocker - is this a thing?

We are getting incessant robo-calls from "Molly at Amazon" and it's coming through with all sorts of numbers.  I was going on to check if others were and noticed that there were instructions for "Spam Blocker" on the Xfinity Voice website.  It tells you to go to Voice, Settings and set your Spam blocker settings and shows a screen shot of what to do:

The problem: it doesn't seem to exist.  Is this a feature that we're supposed to have?

Those phishing calls from someone claiming to be with Amazon and telling you to push a number to stop delivery on something costing hundreds is garbage.

Just hang up on them.   Blocking the number will stop nothing.   They will call again using a different number each time.   The ID you see is fake.

The telephone companies have to stop this practice.

@MNtundraRET Right! We keep our answering machine on 24/7 screening all Xfinity Voice calls. The calls we have been receiving every ten or fifteen minutes are identical to what the first poster "Zone 99" described. They have of course fake caller ID's with our local prefix. They are clearly illegal phishing attempts to obtain credit card information. Seems like only option is to cancel Xfinity Voice.

Changing to another company will not stop it.   We are with Century Link.

"Spam Blockerⓘ

Identify and stop unwanted calls with our new spam blocker, so you only talk to the people that matter the most.

Coming soon!"

That's what Voice Settings says now.

@athena14X  Xfinity's  Voice Spam Blocker is up today.  I'm going with the default settings.

"Identify and stop unwanted calls with our new spam blocker, so you only talk to the people that matter the most.

Let us know what you would like to do with these calls."

I hope it works for you.  It would need to identify the real phone number (not the faked number and ID).

Also; more than one person is using a robo-caller to deliver the same message.  A different phone number.
