I'm upset that I pay hundreds of dollars each month for comcast services and now they have discontinued the email service and switched people over to a commercial service who wants to charge extra for the features I already had and was paying for. I'm looking at other options for TV, phone  and internet. I hope other customers will cancel or curtail their comcast services. Don't get me started on customer support. If you have a few hours to waste trying to navigate the customer service system and finally get an agent, their English is often so bad we can't understand each other.

I just moved my comcast mail to yahoo and am equally upset.  Xfinity said we could have our mails forwarded to a different email account as I have done with comcast since forever.  Only now I find that per Yahoo I need to upgrade to Plus and pay $5/month just to have mails forwarded.  I am not at all happy.

Since going to Yahoo, we have been receiving calls to decrease our payments with xfinity and they have out username to access the account by call for the password verification number to change the password. So do I need to file a complaint with Yahoo for possible breach or will you investigate this issue. Please notify all the customers.

Hello user_kistm2, thank you for making us aware of this issue. I would like to get some more information so we can further investigate.

Please send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you.

How to Send Us a Direct Message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary.
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or visit Xfinity Direct Messaging.
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon.
In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support".
As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
Press Enter to send it.

I totally agree. I been with Comcast for 30+ years. Transitioned to Yahoo and can’t get any tech support, I was trying to make my Yahoo email look similar to old Comcast email page. They are just dumping customers to save money. I will no longer use any Comcast services.

If you haven't migrated to Yahoo! Mail you go here: https://connect.xfinity.com/appsuite

If you have migrated to Yahoo! Mail you go here https://mail.yahoo.com or https://login.yahoo.com and sign in with your comcast.net credentials.

Hi there, @user_j787xh. It looks like @Again covered it with their response. Were you able to get your mail?

This migration is horrible....I can't find my legal documentation in my emails. I hate the adds and I can't figure how it is so much more secure with all of these ads everywhere. I have anxiety issues and the whole page is really bothering me big time. I just miss the simplicity of the old email set up. It was very efficient.

If I can find a way to get rid of Xfinity I will....I feel like I've been hoodwinked and bamboozled. I am an IT person and there must be someway to revert the migration....we do it all of the time.

Xfinity / Yahoo better get their sh*t together BEFORE sending me the final notice to switch. I have extensive email folders/files that CANNOT, and I repeat CANNOT be lost and/or messed up in the transition.

Unlike others in this forum, I do understand ahead of time - as it is clearly stated up front, that we cannot “go back” once transitioned.  And it makes no sense to “go back” anyway.  You would still just have to find another email service anyway and NOT be able to keep your Comcast.net email address by taking that route.

How can we get our Comcast email back?? Yahoo wants monthly payment to stop the ads! This is not right. Is there anywhere we can start a petition to get our comcast email back?? How do we start one? Any help on this subject is needed!
