Recover deleted folder

I deleted a folder with several sub-folders.  I have checked Trash and Deleted Items.  None of the folders or files are in either. Is there a way to recover the folder? What am I missing?

Thanks in advance.

Hi there, @user_68ef9f!

How long ago was the folder deleted? If it was within 30 days, you should be able to recover the emails using these steps: Recover Deleted Emails. There are three horizontal lines when you rightclick on Trash, and there's an option to Recover Deleted Items tucked away in there :)

The folder was deleted three days ago. I had several sub folders within the main folder. I checked the trash and the deleted items areas. None of the folders or the files were in either. Any other possibilities?

I found an old thread that's similar where it seemed to take a bit of time for the emails to show up in the Trash folder, so that's certainly possible! And to make sure, it sounds like you didn't select the option to permanently delete the folder and emails, correct?

I saw that message as well and am cautiously hopeful, thank you.  I don't remember seeing an option to permanently delete the folder or email.  Do you know, does that follow the first choice to delete as a second warning or choice?

Hmmm.  That is odd.  We can take a closer look at this for you.  So that we can get started, please feel free to shoot us a private message with your full name and service address.  That way we can access your account and see what else we can do on our end for you. 😉

To send a "direct message" / "private message" message to Xfinity Support:

 • Click "Sign In" if necessary

 • Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

 • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

 • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

 •  - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

 •  - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

 • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

 • Press Enter to send it
