Outlook app keeps asking sign in

Outlook app (both Android and iOS) keep asking sign in since yesterday. I think this is mail server side issue. I am using imap settings.

I have the same issue with the Outlook app on my iPhone that started today (8/27). I found a posting dated 8/7 on the same, and "XfinityMartyR" responded with:

"Thanks for reaching out! You will want to ensure third-party email access is enabled on your account, or you may want to toggle it off, and back on again:  
I tried this and it did not work. Then deleted my Comcast account from the app, did a hard iPhone reset, then reinstalled. Still asking to sign in. Not sure what Comcast/Xfinity has done but it's a royal pain.

Same here! Did a complete Outlook uninstall on my S23 but now I am getting a certificate issue.  Switched to Samsung email and no problems. What did you guys do to Outlook access?

as of now (8/27/25, 11:34pm PDT), looks problem was solved. Outlook no longer asking password for Xfinity email.

I am having the same issue with my Outlook and I also am using IMAP. I have two Comcast email accounts but no longer having Xfinity service since I moved to Arizona. The primary email account, I stopped using due to the extremely high number of spam emails and created the second account which I still use. Problem is I don't know what the password is/was to the primary email account so I'm not able to log into the Xfinity email. What are my options to correct this? Thanks in advance.

I keep getting this issue.  Probably every 3 weeks, give or take.  It's really frustrating.  I have a Pixel 10 XL Pro so it's a brand new phone.  But it happened even on my last phone.

Even when I type in the right password, it won't take it.  It says Unable to login.  Cancel or Try Again.  Still won't take the correct pw.

Thanks for reaching out to us there was a known issue for third party emails being able to connect with the Comcast emails, but that issue has now been resolved. Are you still having issues trying to access your e-mail on your mobile phone
