How to access email for a newly created Xfinity ID
I created a new ID in my xfinity account to use for specific email purposes. I con log in to the account, but I cant find any was to get to the email via connect.xfinity.com. I get to a page with a single button in the middle that says to click to log in to email, but (1) I'm already logged in, and (2) if I click on it it just brings me back to the same page in a new tab. At one point it said the inbox need to be created, but gave no directions on how to make that happen.

That won't work. New Comcast.net email addresses are no longer available. They've taken down the support article at https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/account-email-information, but when it was still accessible it said:
Lame excuses are presented at https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/email/beginning-june-3-2024-customers-will-not-be-able-to-create-new-xfinity-email-comcastnet-accounts/666653961e56d61567fa1f02.
You'd think Comcast/Xfinity's error handling would cover that situation, but apparently not.
You need to create a 3rd party email account.

Maybe you missed the part where the poster said "I created a new ID". And perhaps you missed the part where Comcast/Xfinity said:
User IDs created after 6/3/2024 will NOT have a corresponding Comcast.net email address, and users logged in with 3rd party addresses will NOT be able to use Comcast/Xfinity's Xfinity Connect webmail unless they already have a Comcast.net email address.
Why are there still so many support articles that give incorrect information about creating new Comcast.net email addresses???
Why do employees continuing to post information that went out of date 5 months ago???
Why doesn't the website tell the poor suckers who try to log in to Xfinity Connect webmail with a 3rd party email address "You can't do that!"???
Didn't anyone from the company think this through???
Are they ever going to clean up this mess????????
