email final warning

I keep getting an email from Xfinity saying that I will lose the ability to get emails because my email client or device no longer meets their requirements.

But when I send an email to the test address (several times), the reply email from Xfinity has the results as a pass.

Any ideas?

Am I about to lose access to my emails? Or is this a bug in their notifications?

You'll get that warning if you have any program, app, or device that accesses your Comcast email using a version of TLS earlier than v1.2. See https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/tls.

Like the original poster, I too have received several "pass" results.  It seems obvious our email clients support the required TLS version.

The question is which should we believe..... the warning emails that say we will lose email service, or the test results that say we will not?

We have been sending nightly notices to people still sending emails using older versions of TLS.  If you want me to look at yours specifically, send me a DM with the email address that is getting the notices.
