Email down

I haven't received an email since 9:10 am. Two contacts emailed me since that time, and I have not received the emails. Also, sent mail is not working. Please advise.

(I rebooted my modem and router, didn't help.)

Same here, no incoming mails since 1:06pm in Zip Code 21204 (Maryland). Sending appears to work. I'm using an email client, not web-mail. But checking web mail through browser on phone shows empty inbox.

Same here in Minnesota. But I'm getting some emails. I tried to contact Xfinity. It used to be excellent service.

Now unavailable.

My email is down as are others in my area.  I am receiving emails as much as 5 hours old.  Located in SF bay area, zip code 95472.  This is happening on desktop, phone and webmail.

Adding my voice to list of Comcast customers only able to send/recieve emails intermittently on Nov. 11, 2021. I've cleared my cache and still waiting for emails to come through. I am also receiving emails that were sent hours ago. Account is in the Boston area, but I am traveling and outside DC.

Spent hours arguing with Amazon about not getting their emails sent after 10:17AM EST to explain why my recent product reviews were not posted....  I finally saw and read those Amazon emails in their "message center" for my account as instructed by support and only then thought to Google this issue!  A whole day wasted in frustration and no closer to resolve off either issue even after clearing.  St. Augustine, FL 32086  6:05PM.

Whole afternoon wasted arguing with Amazon about emails they repeatedly sent not arriving after their last delivery notice this morning at 10:17AM EST in St Augustine, FL 32086.  Didn't even think to Google the issue until a helpful Amazon rep directed me to my account's message center where they sat just as stated.  Me feeling the fool thanks to Comcast/Xfinity.

Same issue in MN 55337.  I use Apple Mail client (imap) as well as tried the xfinity web client (cleared cookies/cache), but missing a bunch of email still.   Additionally, this is very inconvenient, especially when doing email verification on various sites because the OAuth token is expired because any email that does eventually come through is so delayed the token is no longer valid when returning to the website attempting to verify.

Hi, @user_8b750d. We have seen progress, and I wanted to check-in. Have you tried to clear the cache and cookies on your device? If not, can you please give this a try?

Adding Columbia, MD to the list of areas with email issues with xfinity since early this morning (first noticed at 10:45 a.m.) and they persist until now ~9:37 p.m.

Hello, @user_143d4a. Have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far? We have seen success with customers who clear their cache and cookies. It can take up to 24-hours, but it should help clear things up.

Hi there @user_a20c21!  I know that this has been something that has been able to be resolved by clearing your cache and cookies.  Have you been able to do that on your end?

This morning I got some e-mail and thought the problem was resolved. But I just sent myself three test messages, and only one message got through. Something is still not working. Could someone from Xfinity please provide an update?

Still a problem in Zip Code 21204, Maryland. Emails are arriving 1 - 2 at a time, sporadically, with much delay.

SINCE YESTERDAY MORNING!

PLEASE FIX THIS!

Hello all, we are aware of an ongoing issue affecting some customers ability to send or receive emails at this time. A current solution is to clear the cache and cookies on the web browser or affected device, and allow up to 24-hours for the system to update.

If you continue to experience issues after 24-hours, or cannot receive emails still, please contact us and we can connect the affected account to the known issue. This will allow our engineers to see how many accounts exactly are affected and focus their priority on a fix.

I no longer work for Comcast.

Hello everyone! I just wanted to check in and get you all an update on this issue!

Repairs have been made and the issue should be resolved at this point but delayed incoming mail throughout the day is to be expected while our servers are catching up.

If you are still having trouble, we recommend clearing your cache and cookies and wait for 24-hours for those emails to come through. If it's been more than 24-hours and you are still missing emails, please let us know so we can take a closer look. :)
