I am hating going thru this trying to get my old Comcast email
We can't help you unless you give us more details.
How are you trying to access your email? through the website or a third party email app like Outlook,Thunderbird, or Apple/Mac mail? or through a device like your phone, or iPad, etc.
Are you getting any error messages, and if so what are they?
If you're a new Comcast customer, you won't have a comcast.net email address.

No I did not transition to YAHOO. For Some reson it is there & I do not know how to make it gone. I am 82 years old & always wait for daughter to come visit to fix it for me. If I try fixing something it does not work. I have the same thing using my cell phone & now Smart TV.
If not, could you please start your own thread so that we might be able to help you.

How are you trying to access the email? Using only a browser and the webmail UI? Or a client like Outlook or Thunderbird? The mail app on a phone? What happens when you try to sign into the account?
It's part of a server setting [imap.comcast.net] used in a third party email client, like Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple/Mac mail, etc.

Did you make the transition to Yahoo? If so, you cannot revert to the Xfinity email. Or are you referring to something else?
