cannot access email on xfinity.com

Identical to https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/email/cant-access-email/614ca44da6e13d4fb33030b4

I cannot access my Xfinity Email.  Every time I login and click on mail, the Xfinity Connect loading page briefly comes up and then kicks me back to the https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/account-email-information page.  I have tried on multiple devices, pc's, and browsers.

@user_2kf9ks  Hello and good afternoon. Thanks for posting and sharing your experience. We appreciate it and the chance to assist. As well I hope you are having a great weekend so far, staying cool and out of the heat. The fall weather is almost here, and that is the best time of year. Thanks as well for tying the access on multiple devices. That is concerning, and I want you to know that we will work together to get to the bottom of this. Email access is super important, and its vital for my day to day activities. It is the first thing I check in the morning, so I get how valuable it is. Have you checked the status to ensure it is active? We can check with the steps I found for you here https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/email-activity-status.

Thank you for your reply.  Following the steps provided, i reached the email active/inactive page.  Mine instead says, "A Comcast email has not been set up for this account yet. You can activate the email by accessing the inbox with your Xfinity ID and password".  However, i do have a comcast.net email I created circa ~2008.  Potentially useful info:  i have not logged into the email in a couple years and the email was set up under a different xfinity account.

Thanks for confirming user_2kf9ks. You would need to sign in to your Comcast email address once every 12 months, or it would be deactivated. Here is a link to our activity policy, https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/email-activity. Let us know if you have any questions regarding your email.
