Hi user_eg0tze, we’re really sorry to hear how frustrating email changes can be. You’re definitely not alone in feeling this way, and we appreciate you reaching out to ask. At this time, once an Xfinity email account has been closed or deleted, it cannot be reactivated, and we’re not able to restore or create new Xfinity email addresses. That’s why switching back from another provider, like Yahoo, wouldn’t be an option. We know that’s disappointing, and we genuinely wish we had a different answer for you.
For reference, you can find more details about Xfinity email access and account status directly on our website here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/comcast-email-access
Unfortunately once you transition there is no going back. You [obviously] still have your comcast.net email, and you're probably already fed up with ads. You can take care of that two ways: an ad blocker extension specific to your browser and yahoo, or using a third party email app.
Thank you for reaching out here, and for your feedback. @Again is correct, if you are having issues with the Yahoo service there are options through them or third party apps to resolve any issue.

OMG!!! There is no way to go back! This was not very well thought out!
There should have been a warning that this was a ONE-WAY option!!!
Very badly done!
Very badly done indeed!
