Affinity Emails being Blocked

Comcast is blocking document notification emails from Affinity Credit Union.  How can I get Comcast to stop blocking these emails to my comcast.net account?

We never want you to miss an important email. Have you already tried checking your email settings to ensure you're set up to get the email? (https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/spam-filters-and-email-blocking-new-experience)

Yes, I have checked my email settings several times.  Once on my own, a second time using the Xfinity Virtual assistant (who concluded my problem was resolved and disconnected me), a third time with a live technician on the phone (who agreed my email settings were just fine and indicated that I should call Customer Security Assurance, as did Latoque above) and a fourth time with a technician at Customer Security Assurance who set the Spam Filtering option to "override security filters" so that now all spam comes directly to my inbox.  The Customer Security Assurance Tech believed the issue was resolved and indicated that I should just wait to see if the email from my credit union now comes through.  Since the emails from my credit union have not been coming through to my inbox OR my spam folder, I'm not sure how allowing all spam emails into my inbox will solve my problem.  I still think that Comcast might be throwing the emails away before they even get to my spam or inbox folder because the security checks believe it's a "suspicious" email (the From address is very long on these particular emails) but don't know there is anything I more I can do.  I have also contacted my Credit Union who says it's a problem on Comcast's side and that I'm not the only one experiencing the issue.  If you or anyone has any other insights I'd appreciate hearing them.  Thanks!

Sadly, there is nothing more we would really be able to do. Our Customer Security Assurance Team is the only department that would be able to handle this. I know you have contacted them already, but I would reach out again to them to see if they can escalte this up further.

I no longer work for Comcast.

@lcoz

Do you have an account with some other email provider like Outlook.com, or Gmail?  Something else?  For now, give the credit union the other email address and see if the emails come through OK.  Once you have done that, if you want to try an experiment-----------set that other account to forward emails from the credit union to the Comcast address using a filter.  Make sure you set the other account to keep a copy. See if the messages that are forwarded get to the Comcast account OK.

@Latoque That's an excellent suggestion.

@lcoz  Are these from "affinityfcu[.]org"? (trying to avoid the forum removing the domain).  Have the messages started coming in?  I see some, but they look like they were support tickets, though I suspect these aren't the messages you're looking for.

@XfinityAlex No they're not.  The emails I am "missing" are ones that are generated by Affinity's document system.  They are sent out whenever a new document is available.  I am not due to receive any additional documents until the end of the month.  What I recall seeing on the "From" line back in February when the emails were appearing in my spam folder is a very long From address that included the words "bitstatement" and "on behalf of Affinity Federal Credit Union" along with what seemed to be a very long random number generated by their system.  I couldn't ever quite figure out exactly what the "sender" address or domain was for these emails. I'll wait until the end of the month to see what might come through and then try  Latoque's suggestion above.

@lcoz If you have older samples, those can still be helpful for determining the issue.  I'll see if I can go back further in history and discover something useful in our data.

I did figure out that the email that's missing comes from "bitstatement.org" on behalf of Affinity Federal Credit Union.  The document system seems to generate a random number that makes the sender address extremely long and I've often wondered if that's what makes the Comcast system believe that it's a suspicious email or spam.  Thank you in advance for your help in checking this out.

@lcoz We appreciate those details. Have you been in contact with the Customer Security Assurance team with that information as well?
