Hey there, @user_86a832, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding your door sensor! We would be happy to help with getting your door sensor set up on your new door. You would be able to remove the door sensor and place it on your new door. Door/Window Sensors have two parts. Make sure you dismount and bring both pieces or your Sensor won't work in the new location. Are you having issues removing the sensor from the current door?
That makes sense but fortunately it is super easy. Door/window sensors are just held on with double sided tape. If you would still like to schedule a technician, I can certainly price that out if you can send us a private message. You can send one by clicking the "message" icon in the upper right corner of our forum page. Once you click on that, input our shared handle Xfinity Support to send us a private message.
