Xfinity website speed

Xfinity's website is unacceptably slow. With the very strong 300mbps internet connection on my Xfinity home network, not a single phone or PC in my household is able to load any relevant Xfinity.com webpage to SEND THEM MONEY at an acceptable speed.

Took me 35 minutes to SEND MY BILL this morning. Every webpage loads at an awful pace and requires reloads. I must stress that my internet connection is from Xfinity and is tested at download speeds exceeding 200mbps on three separate devices.  Do they not want my money?

Hi there, @user_xpt2jn! Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community Forum. We are aware of this issue and apologize for the poor experience! We have had many customers able to improve the speed by clearing the cache and cookies on their device and reloading the page as a work-around. Also, you can make a payment in a plethora of ways, the website being one. I personally use the awesome XFINITY App https://www.xfinity.com/apps, I highly recommend it to all customers! We have other options listed here as well : https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/pay-your-bill-echat. Thanks for bearing with us!

Hi Frank, I appreciate the response.

While it is nice that there are alternatives to access Xfinity, I must also point out that the app is equally non-functional. It redirects to webpages for many of the features and has similar problems with stalling out.

Paying through a chat bot that can't understand many queries is honestly a gimmick. There really should be no reason for a service as large as Xfinity to be difficult to access through fully functional computers.

As someone who has used Xfinity since it was still called Comcast, it is disappointing to see features like paying bills gradually getting more infuriating to use.

We appreciate your feedback user_xpt2jn about your experience using the Xfinity App and website. Did you know, if you set up auto pay and paperless billing, you can save up to $10 a month on your bill. This will make sure your bill is always paid on time!

Xfinity William. Yes the website is an issue and I have done all the troubleshooting with no positive outcome. Also I dont think that i should be punished having to pay more because I dont use Autopay and pay my bills on time. Its an insult really. So what xfinity is telling me Is because I am person who takes care of his obligations every month and on time, I have to pay a penalty.

@user_v3vx48 I definitely want to make sure you're able to view and pay your bills online. Are you running into a specific error message after clearing the cache and cookies in your browser?

I agree it is painful to download a statement or pay my bill. The app is not a solution because it can be very buggy.

Thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums user_v3vx48! Have you tried clearing your cache and cookies to see if that helps or using a different browser?

Here is what I have done after not being able to access my email account or billing for 20 minutes every other day.

1. Cleared all cache and cookies on Chrome and Edge.

2. Powered down modem and unplugged.

3. Rebooted modem

4. Checked all cables

5. logging onto website with LAN wired computer all drivers and updates up to date.

6 Run complete malware and virus software also shut down virus software when trying to log in.

8. Checked a dozen other websites such as MSN, Yahoo, Marketwatch, local news websites, Amazon and such. All have no problems.

7. No ad blockers active. No extensions active other than adobe.

8. Using an intel i9 desktop P.C running windows 10 pro.

9 Using all xfinity equipment.

10 shut down advanced security.

Xfinity website  boots me out gives error messages and so forth. As it stands I havent paid my new bill and if xfinity cant fix the issue so customers can use the website so be it. if they cancel my service that includes phone internet and cable I will go back to breezeline its pretty funny that the brezzeline website works without a hitch. The only thing left is to replace the modem..

they do want your money, but for an ISP to have such a non-responsive website for managing my accounts and billing is unbelievable,  if i could easily switch, i would!
