Xfinity Charges $230 Early Termination Fee? Are your [Edit] kidding me?
Just see my bill a $230 early termination fee, I didn't even know about this.
Is this company a [Edit: Language] scam?

Hey there user_3farkz not all of our plans come with Early Termination Fees. It depends on the plan that a customer selects. We do also include that on our customer approval before any changes are made to their account. I would be happy to look into this further for you to address your concerns. I would just need some additional information.
Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.
To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send it.

Thank you for taking the time to reach out @user_3farkz. We are showing that the customer approval process was successfully completed which indicated the services and agreement. We recommend viewing our 'How to determine if you will be subject to Xfinity Early Termination Fees (ETF)' knowledge base article which helps go over the charges. If there happens to be anything more we could assist you with, please do not hesitate to create a new public parent post. Thank you for choosing Xfinity and we hope you have a great rest of your day.

Adding on to what @XfinityDemitrius posted:
"a. How you may terminate
If your Services are subject to a minimum term agreement, and you terminate all or any portion of the Services under the minimum term agreement before the end of the minimum term, you may be charged an early termination fee. Review your minimum term agreement for additional details."
From the Customer Agreements, Policies & Services Disclosures/Xfinity Residential Services #9
So, not a scam.
