Tv box stopped working

My tv box stopped working and now only says boot on it. I have followed all troubleshooting steps but cannot get to a real person. Plz help

Hey @user_btm, thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. With an X1 set-top box displaying boot, it could indicate a possible signal quality issue. Have you checked all coax connections to ensure they are secured and tight? Can you also verify that the coax cable is in good quality such as no hard bends, kinks, bite marks or cuts that could interfere with the communication of the set-top box? We hope to hear from you soon.

Yes, this was an initial troubleshooting step along with unplugging it. I have done this several times. It is very frustrating to not be able to reach a person and my tv has now been out for 2 days.

To send a "direct message" / "private message" message to Xfinity Support:

 • Click "Sign In" if necessary

 • Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging 

 • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

 • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

 • As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

 • An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

 • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

 • Press Enter to send it
