Rewardathon

I am unable to redeem my Rewardathon reward. I select the award in my account and nothing happens. Please let me know how to redeem the reward. Thank you.

When I click "Get this reward" or the Rewardathon image on the main "https://customer.xfinity.com/rewards" page it opens a window for Rewardathon. But at the bottom of that window where a "Get this reward" link should be, it just says "Done". Clicking that just returns me to the main Rewards page. ???

            
There is also https://www.xfinity.com/hub/free-tv-movies/pre-rewardathon-2022, but it doesn't tell us much either.

Thanks for bringing this issue to our Xfinity Community Forum. I am sure it's been frustrating not being able to load the Xfinity Rewards Center. You're in the right place for help with this. 

 

Is this happening on more than one device? Also, are you connected to your in-home network or another network when this issue occurs?

On my Ethernet connected desktop running Win11/Firefox, and in my connected-to-in-home-Wifi Android phone in the Xfinity app, same behavior on both.

According to the tiles in the Rewardathon info on my X1 box, thee are at least 2 "free" movies. It says to use the app to get them, but they are not available through that, or online with a browser.

@andyross​ I hope I don’t jinx myself but I haven’t had any issues with catching rewards. What I’ve noticed nothing new has been added for a couple of hours unless I missed it or it didn’t show up. I did get one movie, Step Brothers. Is there a list which shows what they’re giving away and do you know if they put new items up at specific times? Thx?

I salute Comcast's ability to avoid the problem by throwing out red herrings, and by posting replies to THIS topic in multiple unrelated threads. Remarkable really.

@BruceW​  Have you went to your profile and set up how you prefer to be notified? You can choose either email or forum or both. If you’ve done that and saved the preferences, I don’t know what could be wrong. Good luck! If I see anything similar posted with a fix, I’ll let you know.

I don't think the Rewardathon itself is a reward you can get. It's just an event with extra rewards available for a very short time. They have the system rather confused right now.

You're probably right Andy, I have probably misunderstood what Rewardathon is. Unfortunately, Comcast doesn't seem to understand it either.

  • The app doesn’t have the Rewardathon anywhere unless it’s well hidden. I’ve been catching rewards online. Does this mean because the rewards I have were from online, they’re not valid?

  • I’ve noticed unless I’ve missed something, nothing has been added in a couple of hours. Is it certain times or random times things are added?
  • I also grabbed something that after reading later isn’t compatible with my equipment. How do I handle this type of situation?

I’m not having issues with redeeming rewards. I simply asked if the rewards I have redeemed online were valid because I keep seeing this is only available through the app. That said, I can’t find it anywhere on the app. 

I did grab a reward which later realized isn’t compatible with my equipment. How is a situation such as that handled?

Also, it’s been a couple of hours since I’ve seen any new rewards available. Is it certain times you release a reward or are they randomly released?

I selected the Showtime 30 day free trial and I see this:

However, when I try to watch Showtime, it wants me to subscribe.  How long do I have to wait to get free trial?

I'm also trying to figure out why the free trials aren't working. Do they work for anyone yet? I tried resetting the Flex device as that has been an issue in the past but it didn't help.

@XfinityTravis​ The Rewardathon 30-day trials of Epix and Showtime that I redeemed on September 29th. Like others have said, they don't seem to be working. Clicking on shows or movies within the apps on the Flex device cause a message to pop up about being charged for a subscription if I were to continue.
