Requesting public Xfinity WiFi Hotspot at new station, how to?

Hi! I live in Cambridge, MA, and have been benefiting from the public Xfinity WiFi Hotspots available within most of the "T" MBTA subway stations for quite a while. The Newly relocated Lechmere station has recently reopened, but unfortunately there are not a single public Xfinity WiFi Hotspot within the area. Checking the zip code 02141 in the webpage https://www.xfinity.com/learn/internet-service/wifi and if you zoom in to the Lechmere station, it's clear that there's a huge Xfinity WiFi Hotspots dead zone with the new station smack in the middle.

I am wondering if there is an official method or channel to connect with those at Xfinity responsible for taking requests of public Xfinity WiFi Hotspots installation.

Thanks!

Hello @DrMORO, thank you for taking the time to reach out to us on the forums I hope you are doing well! I understand the need to have an internet connection at all times, especially when the internet is so vital in today's world.

Public hotspots are determined by the government or private institutions having our services. If the station was under contract with us they would have public hotspots available. You would need to speak with the station's customer service or the city (whoever owns and operates the station) to have something like this looked into. We don't have the option to install hotspots in random locations since they're all supplied by businesses or residents that have our services and transmit a signal for guests to log in with.

The concern is not "Community Center" help related. Thread moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to the Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Thanks!

MBTA has been contacted with my question, and now waiting for their response.
