Refund Options
I received an email about an account refund through xfinityrefunds.com, and the only options for the refund are virtual card, physical card, or transfer to debit card. I'd like to just get my refund as a check or chargeback to my credit card. The fine print also said the options for the cards had fees associated and expiration dates which seems more like a bad gift card than a refund.

Hey @user_077251,
Thank you for taking the time to visit and review our official Xfinity Community Forums page. With XfinityRefunds, those would be the eligible options for the account. Sounds like transferring the funds to a debit card would be your best option if you do not want to put the funds on a virtual or physical card. If you have any additional questions, you can use the Chat Functionality which is located to the right-hand side of https://www.xfinityrefunds.com/ which can provide you with a chat or phone number to call.

I received the same email. Why not just automatically refund to card or account the payment came from? Seems like an attempt to avoid making refunds

I agree with the previous visitors. I paid by credit card and I want the options for my refund
1. back on the card
2. A check to deposit
Why are you forcing use to accept some random card?

I had the same options, but when I told my representative (Mohammed) that I wanted my refund transferred to my debit card.
I do not have the desire to be on my computer at length.
I got a code, I put it in in a timely manner. NOTHING happened. I tried 4 different times.
I just want my money returned to my debit card.

I cancelled all Xfinity services and was due a refund. I got the same email with the options of virtual card, physical card, and transfer to debit card. I wanted a transfer to debit card. I created an account for their virtual wallet in hopes of getting this transfer and after submitting, the next page said that a verification email would be sent and I needed to click a link to verify this new account. I got the email and gmail flagged it as suspicious and removed all links within the email. This seems very scammy. Now I'm forced to call Xfinity customer service, spend 30 minutes wading through their automated phone tree and another 30 minutes to actually get a rep on the line so that I can have a check sent (which, i'm sure, will take 3-4 weeks to receive.) Just another example of terrible customer service which is why I cancelled everything I had from them.
