Pending Activation

I recently installed Xfinity internet and it has been working wonderfully, however whenever i check my account online it says that my internet is pending activation. Any help to resolve this issue would be appreciated.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Greetings @user_6le5hb, and thanks for posting your issue to the community forums, and thank you @EG for moving the post, so we would be able to respond, I hope you are both having a good Saturday so far. I am sorry to hear about the issues with the app, but you have come to the right place for assistance with this issue. Have you recently moved from an old address that had Xfinity service?

No I have not moved from an old address that had xfinity service. This is the first time that I have had xfinity. I just opened the account three weeks ago.

Thanks for the response and we are here to look into this so everything reflects correctly. Can you send us a DM with your name and address to get started?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon

Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it.
