Outage Saturday

Another houst9n outage here. I had internet Friday and Saturday morning.  Saturday afternoon it goes out seemingly without reason.  Could I get an actual update on why or when it will be fixed other than "as soon as possible"?

Hello, user_i4979j! I'm sorry you've been having issues getting some answers. We're still working on getting services back up and running in the area, but we have Hotspots you can use in the meantime. I am in 77069 and the hotspots do not connect.  It worked for about 10 minutes then it just says can't connect.

@XfinityAntoine​ additionally, this seems unrelated to Beryl as it worked up until Saturday afternoon.

You may have has issues before Beryl, but the issues have most likely continued because of Beryl.

@XfinityAntoine​ Beryl hit Monday.  My issues didn't arise until Saturday, 5 days later.

I went to the xfinity shop on Taylor and I10 the guy said we wont have our services back until Saturday 7/20, but looking at all the posts on this forum, xfinity keeps changing the dates. Something happened w them for them to do this, the storm passed and i had internet for 6 days after it. 
again, the issue is the lack of transparency. You cant lie to your customer base and expect them to just take it.

i went to AT&T after i left the xfinity shop and signed w them, same price for better internet (finer), you have to wait a few days to get your internet modem kit but after that we are good to go, i rather wait two days knowing the date than trust this terrible company
