New Apartment Complex Service Availability

I will be moving in a few days but have not officially signed a lease yet. While touring this one apartment building, which is very new, I was told that Xfinity does not offer service in the building. However while researching, it seems as though I can set up a business plan for the unit. I am an existing Xfinity customer and would love to transfer my current residential plan to this new address but the form does not list the unit I would potentially rent, although I do see other units listed that are currently occupied. Is there a reason why I could set up a business plan for the unit but not a residential one? Are there any options I could do to keep my Xfinity service if I decide to move to this new address?

Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us via our Xfinity Forums Community web portal @Morgan_G. We are sorry to say that we are unable to provide services to your home at this time. With the address being outside our current footprint, a network extension would be needed as high costs. If there happens to be anything more we can help you with, please let us know.
