Loveland Area Outage

There's been an outage affecting all Xfinity services near Loveland, CO since 3pm. The ETA's for resolution continued to be pushed back and text message updates no longer work. Anyone have any guidance as to when we can expect services to come back up?

As always, the Xfinity outage management process is a joke. You can self-serve updates until those break too :)

Is there any way to find out if I'm going to have restored service tomorrow?  I need to know if I can work, or if I have to make other arrangements!

@user_068210 Thank you for reaching out on the Xfinity Community Forums. I am happy to take a look for an update to your services. The Xfinity Status center would provide the most recent update, however I am happy to look for you. Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? Our team can most definitely take a further look at this issue.

To send a "Direct Message" ("Private") message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message chat" icon
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it

@user_068210 try now. I'm near Orchards. Mine came back on at 5. The status center says I'm still down and NO TEXT has come my way.

I don't know Loveland, but Xfinity identified another area that they needed to take care of.  Century Link did a number on everyone!

I'm not an employee, but I feel for all of you having to weather this extremely long outage and not having any specific information to go by.

I hope everyone is back online by work tomorrow.

Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention. That's definitely not the experience we want you or any of our customers to have so on behalf of the company I'd like to apologize for the miscommunication and confusion. This is definitely not normal practice for us. I've notated your request & you can also leave feedback here https://survey.foreseeresults.com/survey/display?sid=feedbackTV-en&cid=R9RRtJoQ98EENQoRBJ0Mhg (write in on section 5) the more we hear from you the better. In the meantime, you and anyone here effected can reach out to us individually via private message (just send a private message to Xfinity Support with your full name and full address by clicking the chat icon in the top right), and we'd be happy to credit the account for the time you were without services.

I went into the Fort Collins store at the Foothills Mall and spoke to one of their managers on duty, He looked up my street and said they should be able to have us back online at 7pm.... but it wasn't 100% certain to happen. They did mention that Comcast will credit all the hours that the outage was affected; if things don't get resolved, calling Comcast to get it resolved would be the next step.

Cautiously optimistic but I'll believe it when I see it. Honestly they need to be better prepared for this kind of thing when literally thousands of people rely on them for their livelihood;to not have the kind of redundancy in place that this many customers could be out for this long due to a single fiber cut is wild.

For those who are wanting to be compensated more than just the hours of down time...good luck. If you're a business I can seem them doing it, but for a regular person, WFH, or Hyrbid....I doubt they do that without someone saying they're looking into legal remedies.

6:10 pm, no internet (Lon Hagler Reservoir). 6:15, phone notification of emails coming in. The outage map says service is back up, finally.

Yes, the internet is back, but I'm still waiting for Xfinity to notify me that it's been restored.

Not holding my breath, obviously.

I just completed the outage credit request, but it was only for $5. My wife and I both work from home and had to get child care and displace to friends' homes in order to work that day. $5?!? Is there a way to appeal this?
