Internet Keeps Dropping - Xfinity AI Chat Bot Useless

I am writing to report ongoing internet connectivity issues that have been occurring for several months. My internet unexpectedly drops for approximately 30 seconds to 1 minute at a time, often multiple times throughout the day, before reconnecting on its own. Last week, Xfinity dispatched a linesman to address issues with the neighborhood lines after several service interruptions. Unfortunately, the brief outages have continued since that work was completed. I work from home and rely on a stable connection throughout the day. The interruptions are unpredictable and frequently occur while I am on work calls, causing meetings to disconnect and disrupting my ability to work. It happened just 10 minutes ago.  I have not reported many of these incidents because they are usually resolved by the time I navigate the automated chat system and the system says "internet is working just fine", at which point no outage is detected. There is no easy way to communicate an intermittent issue like this to a live representative. It is extremely frustrating that Xfinity makes it so difficult to report a recurring service problem that I am having to post on a public forum just to seek assistance. The chatbot is useless and waste of your money and my time.  For a modern communications company, this process feels unnecessarily outdated and inaccessible. I am formally documenting the issue and requesting assistance with resolving these ongoing interruptions.

You are not alone.  My connection has been doing the same thing since I had it installed in May.  All my neighbors that have Xfinity have had the same issue for months.  It seems impossible to get the issue actually fixed.  The AI "help" is not helpful at all.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hey @user_m4y1y3, Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. We would be more than happy to assist with the Xfinity Internet connectivity issues.

Please note that sending unsolicited private messages to myself or any other user is a direct violation of our forum guidelines. You must first create a Public post requesting assistance, and once a Comcast verified employee responds and asks for a private message to be sent, you can then proceed with doing so. This is just a heads-up for future reference, but I look forward to further assisting you.

We recommend visiting our Getting Started in the Xfinity Help & Support Forum, Xfinity Forum Guidelines, and Xfinity Forum Acceptable Use Policy to familiarize yourself with the guidelines.

To begin, could you please visit our 'Tips for troubleshooting your Xfinity Internet connection' knowledge Base page for some troubleshooting tips and tricks? Could you please provide the signal levels to the modem by following the "Check your signal levels" section so we can review if anything is out of specification? Hope to hear from you soon.
