hello

I want a new tv box.  I went to the store and all they had to offer was a wireless box.  My wifi has been on and off these days.  So I don't want to rely on a wireless box.  I wanted the Arriis XGlv4 4k dvr box so I could still watch tv when my wifi modem failed.  They said that a dvr box would not work if my wifi was not working.  I explained this was not true because my wifi modem completely broke and I still had tv thanks to the coaxial cable.  They did not believe me.  So I left the store.  Called the number they gave me and the person said they would look for a dvr box for me.  I explained that I could get a wireless box anywhere and cut the cable completely and save lots of money, but I prefer to stay with xfinity, if I can get the dvr box I want.

The concern is not "On Demand" help related............ Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

I got a brand new tv and a brand new tv box.  Last night I had to call xfinity because they were billing me for two boxes over a period of two months.  I called last month when I noticed the double charge and was assured that it would be reimbursed.  Well this bill arrived and I was still being billed for two and never received a reimbursement.  The person I spoke to was able to correct my bill after some lengthy time on the phone, but when I hung up and turned on my tv, I had no service.  After additional long conversations on the phone with xfinity, I was told that my tv box needed to be replaced and a technician would come out in a few days.  Something is not adding up here.
