Gig/Platinum Customer Unable to Access Peacock

I am a Gig customer and have been trying to access the free Peacock Premium offer since July 2023, going back and forth repeatedly with Xfinity as they keep saying "try this" and me saying that didn't work.  Finally on Jan 3, the representative told me to just subscribe to Peacock and they would reimburse me.  The reimbursement they promised appeared on my January bill but is not on the upcoming bill for February.

One last question...what happens in February when the next monthly charge shows up? Will it be automatically reimbursed?

Yes it will be automatically reimbursed to your monthly bill.

I am so tired of this.  After six months of trying to get access, it's now looking like I will have to follow up every month to get reimbursed.  (I'm not surprised, mind you, just frustrated.)

I know there were other customers out there who were unable to access Peacock.  How were you able to get it resolved?  I only seem able to reach representatives who kick the can down the road.

@TurtleCat Thank you for taking the time to make this post so that our team can help address your concerns. We have no way to provide an automatic bill credit for Peacock, and if it is something that is part of your plan, then we would not provide credits for a manual subscription. We would instead work with the appropriate teams to active the Peacock Premium offer properly, which our team here can help with no problem! Currently, there are two ways that you can activate this offer, via the Xfinity Assistant or our Peacock activation link. Below are the steps for this:

Xfinity Assistant

1. Log in to your account on xfinity.com, then open Xfinity Assistant: https://www.xfinity.com/xfinityassistant/

2. Click Activate Now on the banner that states, "Your Peacock subscription is ready for activation." If you don't see the banner, try typing in "Peacock Premium Activation". If you still don’t see the Activate Now banner in Xfinity Assistant, you can also check your Xfinity online account for the same banner: https://login.xfinity.com/login

3. You will be redirected to Peacock, so you will want to finish activation on the Peacock site.

Note: You must use the primary email address associated with your Xfinity ID to redeem this Peacock offer. If you use another email address, the system won’t recognize the offer as valid.

1. Visit xfinity.com/activate-peacock and sign in with your Xfinity ID and password.

2. Select the Activate Peacock button to be directed to peacocktv.com.

3. Enter an email address and password for your Peacock account.

 

You will however continue to run into issues activating this since you already have an activate Peacock account, and the free Peacock Premium offer is not able to be activated if another already exsiting plan is tied to your Peacock account. We would first need to have you cancel your subscription, and then once that is completed and your billing cycle has been completed to remove those services, then you would be able to activate the offer. I would give that a try, and if once the bill cycle has been completed for Peacock Premium to offically be canceled and you are still unable to sucessfully activate it with the steps above, please send Xfinity Support a direct message with your full name and address so we can ensure this offer is properly activated as you need it.

Thank you.  I have canceled the manual subscription, and I will follow up with the direct message after the billing cycle ends on 3/3/24.
