Credit for Loss of Internet and TV Service

Getting an Xfinity human being is impossible! The worst customer service I have ever experienced!!!!!

My internet and tv service was down for 3 days (including my busiest work day, Sunday) and now the website tells me I am ineligible for credit because it was weather related!
If this isn't resolved I'm going to cancel my service and use my considerable influence to encourage my congregation ( several thousand) to strongly consider switching providers.

This is no way to treat your customers!

user_dkylcq Hi there! Thanks for using our Forums and for taking the time out of your week to write us. We are here happy for the chance to work with you to make sure your service is working properly and so we can make this right. How has your connection been as of today and are you able to connect online?

The connection is fine now.

The internet worked as soon as service was restored.

However, since there was a 3 day interruption after hours of trial and error I was able to connect by using a very specific order of unplugging and then replugging the various devices in order to have the system recognize a single IP address.  BTW, the Xfinity Assistant is a HORRIBLE algorithmic approach in which the customer is frequently stuck in a dead end loop. It is essentially useless to the end user.

All this being said I require compensation for the time of service loss.

This does not work!

Why does Xfinity make it almost impossible to report a problem or get my freaking money back!

This is why I am canceling my service with you!!
