Cable Utility Box in yard is broken and needs to be replaced

The cable utility box on my front lawn appears to have been damaged by either landscapers or neighborhood kids and there is now a large hole in the top cover portion that a child could reach into and grab the wires. I am worried someone will reach in and get hurt and it is on my property and I dont want to be held responsible.

I have a similar issue and I was told the box would need to remain unsecured due to a tenor line running into it won’t allow it to close all the way. And because it’s in an easement I should be concerned. So much for them being safety conscious and trying to get it fixed right away. The temporary line was run over a month ago. Horrible…
