Cable connection

We just moved into a new manufactured home and there are zero coaxial connections anywhere inside the house. Since Xfinity is the cable provider for this area, would they be the ones to install at least one connection for our modem? We only need internet.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hi there! Thanks for posting your question. Unfortunately, our technicians do not install coaxial outlets inside your home. You would need to hire a 3rd party contractor to get this done and contact us once it's connected to get your services installed.

@XfinityAirelle thanks for the reply. When you say a third party contractor, I’m assuming you mean an electrician right?

Yes, most electricians will install coax outlets. Look up in your local area, you should be able to contact someone to provide a quote to you.

Comcast techs just do not do wall fishing for the coax wiring. Otherwise, they run the cabling outside of the premises and they just drill holes from the outside to the inside to get the wiring in. If you want / need wall fishing to be done, you would need to hire a local contractor, such as a low-voltage electrician.

They only install wall plates on a wall that faces the outside by running external wiring on the outside of a building and drilling a hole through from the outside to the inside.

They also refer to a service company that they have partnered with. See this article: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/hellotech-overview

You get a 25% discount when you're a Comcast customer.

Since I have Xfinity for my internet services, how do I ask somebody to see if the wires outside of my house are OK? Sometimes the internet will not connect. I have tried anyother way to fix the problem.

Yesterday my PC was working OK. But the next morning I tried to start up the PC again. The PC would not connect with the internet, only for a while. Later the PC would not connect with the internet again.
