Bally Sports
The unavailability of Bally Sports through our cable lineup with Xfinity/Comcast will definitely have us rethinking cable providers asap. If there is no chance for this to be resolved we will have to go with a different provider, which we really hope not to have to do.

Hello, @user_ohh173
Unfortunately, our programming agreement with DSG has expired. We have made a number of reasonable offers that DSG hasn't accepted. This means we no longer have the rights to carry their channels, including your local Bally Sports network. The loss of this channel will result in savings that we’ll pass along to you, and you’ll see an automatic credit in your bill in the coming weeks.
Great sports programming, including NBA, NHL, and MLB national coverage, is still available with Xfinity. Just say “Sports” into your Xfinity Voice Remote to explore your options. You can also press “C” on your Xfinity Voice Remote to go to Sports Zone and see available sports content.

Another thing that [Edited: "Language"] is that you can't even subscribe to Bally Sports+ and get the Braves. Fubo here I come.

Agreed. I pay way too much for xfinity as it is, and the sole reason I’ve kept their service is for the Bally sports network.

Interesting that I read that the negotiations with Bally's fell through becuase Xfinity wants to put Bally Sports in their Tier 2 subscription bucket, which in turn mean that we will all pay more. So save this $8 credit, because you will be paying it back, and more, in the future.

I want out of the contract I just agreed to so that I could watch the Braves on Bally. This is so disappointing. I will cancel my Comcast service and stream Bally.

I too have been paying a ton for Xfinity service. Almost 300$ a month, for years. But this move is it. I will be cancelling my service soon.

I have been a customer for over 13 years and the prices just keep getting out of control. I have called numerous times only to be told there is nothing they can do for me. Hours on the phone does not help either. I do believe it's time to move on after not being able to watch local sports here in KC .

I will definitely be leaving Xfinity because of cancelling Bally sports . I watch the braves and am not happy: I will either go to Fubo or direct tv. Why are they able to get this and y’all can’t.

Your programming agreement has expired because of your greedy insistence that Bally Sports be moved to a premium tier, which would require your subscribers to pay more to access the games that have heretofore been available in the basic tier. This situation is not acceptable and is an insult to your subscribers. If you want to accelerate the decline of the cable business model, you certainly have chosen a very effective manner to do so. I blame you, not Bally for this absolutely absurd situation.

All I ever get from Xfinity is emails stating how something is being removed and in most cases no change in charges for services. You may provide a credit for the loss of Bally Sports, but you most certainly will get it back for the start of 2025. It's shocking to me that something could not be negotiated with DSG. All Xfinity ever does in these cases is pass the cost on to the consumer. I know this is being simplistic, but I cannot understand why it cost so much for Xfinity, just for running a line of cable to my home. Like many of the other post made today one of the main reasons that I have Xfinity is for Bally and local sports. I will be looking to another provider as well who can provide the services that I desire.

I will be canceling Xfinity without the broadcast of the Braves. I pay about $15/mo. for the Regional Sports Network. Xfinity has published that it has over 13.6 million subscribers. Quick Math: that's about $204,000,000 per month -- annually that's over $ 2.4 Billion from the regional sports cast revenue alone. With these kind of numbers -- an agreement can't be done? How much greed can one group have. Xfinity cares so much about their customers -- so they cancelled the Bally Sports deal in the middle of the baseball season.
We have had Comcast cable for over 20 years -- currently in excess of $300/mo. for the boxes, broadcast rights, internet -- only kept it this long because of the local sports i.e. the Braves. Other subscribers offer sports team access and at much lower cost with the same quality of service. I have been over paying for the same services out of convenience and the Braves broadcast.
Your callous attitude towards providing programming that your customers want and pay for is very disappointing.
If you can't or won't fix ASAP -- you have forced me to go to another service -- like the tens of thousands of current customers will also do.

I am glad WOW will be in my area next month. Dropping Comcast, going to get Youtube TV and purchase Ballys app. Will be about 40 less a month and internet speeds will be double. Was thinking about it and Comcast just made it easy for me.

Same here!!!! We pay a stupid amount monthly for internet and cable! I rarely watch tv unless it’s the Atlanta Braves or the Georgia Bulldogs! If xfinity doesn’t resolve this we’re bailing as soon as we can! Convenient how you have a contractual dispute at the start of baseball season! [Edited: "Language"]

Memphis customers can't catch a break from Xfinity. Last year, right at the start of football season, Xfinity decides to play hard ball with the local Fox affiliate/ION. Blaming the local stations for Midsouth customers not having access to NFL or college games. I guess they did learn from their mistakes in one aspect. During that debacle, Xfinity stated they had no plans to reimburse customers for the lack of Fox and ion channels. When an agreement was reached, I think we got a $4 credit. This is the last straw, though. I have league pass with my season ticket package to the Grizzlies. I won't be able to watch Grizzlies games due to league pass local black out. Similarly if I wanted to see the Braves or Cardinals, I'll deal with blackout if I subscribe to MLB season plan. Plus the college basketball and football sometimes on Bally. I've tried using the Bally Sports app when away from home, and (CHARLES BARKLEY VOICE) it's TURRIBLE. So, no way I would subscribe directly to BALLY SPORTS. Looking into alternatives that carry Bally Sports as part of their streaming package like Fubo TV or DirectTV Streaming. Bye Xfinity TV, it's been real
