Bad experience and lied to from representative of Xfinity
I became an Xfinity customer in December 2025 when I Moved into a new place. I got Xfinity hooked up and I had nothing but problems with trying to get my cable working. I called the Xfinity customer service line about 3-4 days per week trying to get a hold of someone who could help me. I'd be told to go to the local Xfinity store and they will help or I'd get the run around from customer service Representatives. Well December goes , January, February March and still nobody comes out, I took the cable boxes back multiple times to different stores. Then I get someone out to my house and he had to hook up something to my box and manually do something to get it to work. He advised me to contact the customer service billing and they would own me 4 months of the cable bill towards my credit because of the problem. I get a hold of someone and they agreed that I was owed because of the problem and I would get a credit ticket for 4 months of cable deductible from my bill. Well after that call I assumed it was going to be taken care of and I received the next bill and I don't see my credit. I called the customer service again and they said I had to pay the past due balance of my Xfinity service and then I will receive my credit. I don't understand what they mean .... They owe me money for 4 months of not having cable because of an issue on there behalf and I have to pay the balance off before I can get my credits owed that was More than I owed.... I was directed to another representative of Xfinity and they said they was doing a ticket for my 4 months credit and I would see it before my next bill...The next thing I know, my service is suspended... [Edited: "Profanity"] is this... I called and they said I had to pay the minimum balance of my bill and after that was taken care of everything would go through with the credit owed to me. I paid the minimum balance as I was advised to pay and I was surprised by another shut off a few weeks later... I call again and they say I have to pay for the minimum balance once again because I owed $100 Dollars or so but they owe me over $200 for the credits of 4 months that I didn't have no cable TV and only Wi-Fi and home security service.. it was a package deal and my cable box wouldn't work until I got a Comcast representative to come out to my house and have to hook up something to fix the issue and it was something on there behalf .. I'm so beside myself that I was put through this from Xfinity. These people don't [Edited: "Profanity"]!? About the people who support there job's.. YES THAT'S CORRECT.. US AS THE CUSTOMER WHO IS PAYING FOR SERVICE AND WHEN SOMETHING IS WRONG ON THEIR BEHALF.. THEY TRY TO BLOW YOU OFF LIKE YOU DON'T MATTER... [Edited: "Inflammatory and Solicitation"]
