$200 Amazon gift card
I signed up for Xfinity internet on Dec 11 2024. I recently moved and had to change internet providers i saw that Xfinity was having a promo sign up and get $200 Amazon gift card so i did i signed up for the most expensive plan and once i signed up boom no mention of that card ever came up again nowhere to he found. I saw that somebody here had the same issue and i saw Xfinity commented and had a link about how to check the status on it so i checked the status and it says no record found and i have had my service for 2 weeks now and nothing showed up. This is really messed up. There needs to be more clarification and cant be lying to us like this. I was on the phone with customer care and they tried so hard to convince me it was my fault i didn't get the card and that i was not gonna get it please be more clear and dont lie to your customers like this. I am very upset i don't even care about the gift card at this point im more upset that i was lied to and made feel like i was tricked and used. That is a very messed up feeling.

Same thing has happened to me. It's extremely upsetting and I can't find any way to contact support about it because everything is powered by some unhelpful AI.

Same thing here. I took a screenshot as proof of the promotion and I've still gotten the run around from 3 different agents after following the guidelines to contact them via the XfinityAssistant.

This is the exact same thing that is happening to me! I’m sorry this has happened to you as well, but it is comforting to at least see someone else going through this and not feel like I’m crazy. Do better Xfinity! Don’t offer a promotion and then renege on your offer?! What kind of business is that?

Good news and progress! After contacting customer service and explaining the situation, the representative escalated the situation to the "Xfinity Rewards Support" team, on January 10th. This morning the 16th, i received an email saying the ticket was closed, so I went on the incentive tracker and the gift card is finally showing up, along with my escalation number recorded in there! The gift card hasn't been issued yet, but it says to expect it within 2-4 weeks!
Possible path to resolution: Go to https://www.xfinityincentivetracker.com and check to see if your gift card promo is processing. If not, contact customer support via chat, and request a callback. Explain the gift card promo, and the date you registered is within that time period, ask that it be escalated to the Xfinity Rewards Support Team. Give them as many details as possible, such as agent name when you signed up, offer screenshots if you have any (they didn't ask for mine).
I'll post on update when I receive the card!
Just a reminder, remember to be kind, courteous, and professional with your interactions. I know this is frustrating, but most likely, the person you're talking with really does want to help you. Try to not only make it as easy as possible for them, but try to make their day and engage with their "small talk". The last rep I talked with, shared an amazing ginger tea recipe. Yes, we're there to get our issue resolved, but it doesn't mean we can't have fun in the process.

I have the same issue. Spent about 2 hours on a call and they “have no record” of this despite it being confirmed with an agent on the phone when I signed up. Now they’re telling me it’ll be 90 days before I get it!! When originally it was within 2 weeks of install. I feel scammed.

I have the same exact problem, and you're right about feeling lied to by Comcast that is almost as bad as not receiving the reward. I signed up with the same Amazon Gift Card promotion on Black Friday (11/29/24) activated 1Gb internet service the next day (11/30). The promo was a $200 Amazon gift card 2-4 weeks after activation for 1Gb or more home internet service with online sign-up (or $100 under 1Gb service). I called Comcast 3 weeks later within my trial period expressing my intent to cancel because I never received anything in writing or email confirming the $200 Amazon gift card promo. I said I was willing to cancel service during my fist 30 days, take my equipment back to the store, and sign-up again just get confirmation in writing that I'd get the $200 reward. The phone rep read the rules for the promo and REPEATEDLY assured me based on the dates of ordering service (and signing up online) that I qualified and would automatically receive the reward after waitin the full 4-week period and was confident I'd then receive the reward by email. I asked for confirmation in writing, but she said if there's any problem, this was a recorded line as my confirmation. But apparently no one has access to review a COMCAST recorded line.
Six weeks after installing service, on 1/9/25, I chatted with customer service online through the Xfinity App. The rep REPEATEDLY promised me it wasn't a problem and that my $200 would be waiting for me in my local Xfinity Store. After (purportedly) getting that settled, the chat rep also promised me a COMPLETELY Free (after taxes & shipping) iPad 10th Gen with no service fees for 2 years. I thought it was too good to be true, and it was. The day after it arrived (at the wrong location - I was supposed to pick it up in the store), I saw a new $65 monthly charge in my Xfinity acct. I went to my local Xfinity Store to confirm what I was promised, but was sent away, to the next town over, because my local store where the chat rep told me to go was not a "company" store. The next day I went to the company store further from my house. Not only was there NO $200 AMAZON card waiting for me, but they told me there was absolutely no promotion whatsoever on the iPad in my account so that I would be responsible for $499 for it + $20 monthly service, locked in for 2 years. I immediately returned the iPad. The local Xfinity store said they couldn't help with the promised $200 Amazon reward. They didn't even believe me that it was ever a promo, but I was able to pull up dozens and dozens of others complaining about the same promotion on Xfinity's own website on my phone. After 30 minutes of the store looking into it (and confirming with the Reward tracker nothing was pending), they gave up and told me to call Xfnity customer service again. I asked if they could pull up the chat to confirm was I was promised. They said there is no way to do so, and that Xfnity online chat reps will say anything and promise everything to customers because they have "no accountability" and there is no way to follow up on what was promised. I then realized that unlike most other company's online chat customer service, Comcast does NOT provide customers the opportunity to request an email copy of the chat conversation. That is a HORRIBLE business model that I am going to do everything I can to expose by posting my experience everywhere I can.
I called Xfinity Customer Service on the way home. A very sympathetic & understanding phone rep created a "ticket" for me, but she couldn't do more because the "escalation" team had just closed for the night.
I called the next day to the rewards redemption number as instructed, but they couldn't find any reference to the ticket No. They looked up my account and confirmed there was NO promotion gift card on my account but promised to look into it in 7-10 days. I have zero faith I will hear anything since I have been repeatedly DECEIVED by Comcast over the past 7 weeks. I have had problems redeeming rewards with AT&T and Verizon in the past but they ALWAYS immediately resolved them. This has been the WORST experience I've ever gone through attempting to redeem a promotion.

I am having the same issue! I have been waiting for now 6 weeks for the gift card and I have no help from a live agent or AI on the phone. It’s close to impossible for them to offer any help. I showed the email stating I will receive it and nothing from them. I really would like any type of help here.

I got mine last week. Was expecting it to take up to a month, think they said 2-4 weeks, and it made it just on time.

I commented on here before about the gift card as where I asked the rep over the phone if I was still eligible for it and said yes but in really I wasn’t and was online only. I was able to finally speak to a rep that knew what they were doing and he said that he did see remarks from the rep that did my order. He placed an escalation ticket and I was able to get the $200 Amazon gift card. Def possible if you have a situation like mine

I also had this issue. I contacted support 3 times and each time they told me it would get resolved within a certain amount of time. I finally called and got a hold of customer support. They told me they don't see anything from December of 2024 with that deal. I told her I screen shot it just in case. She still told me there's nothing that can be done. I then got extremely irritated and told her I want a supervisor. The supervisor said the same thing, so I told her "I feel like this is a scan and that you as a huge corporation should be taking this more seriously. I'm extremely [edit: language]. Do I need to go to an xfinity store?"
She told me yes. She said it would be great if I can show proof of the screen shot.
So if I have any luck I'll post it here. I'll also let them know there's a group of people who have been having the same issue and they should make it right so there's no class action.
