Xfinity charging for INSP

I just received an email from INSP that Xfinity is going to charge $10 for INSP even though INSP doesn’t charge Xfinity for their programming. I don’t want that to happen. Why would Xfinity do that?

you took it upon yourselves to remove the insp channel from programming and offered it up in a move expensive  package with sports most older people  live on budget and will not pay the extra because they can not afford it.you leave most of use no choice but to look for another carrier which is what we will do this week have had xfinity for 5-6 years and not much trouble with it but are going to drop you guys for not caring about the polder people that watch tv and not much else

I apologize for the inconvenience these changes may have caused you. You may find alternate programming by saying "Western" into their Xfinity Voice Remote to bring up similar content to INSP.

I am very upset that u took Insp and put it with a sports package.  I don’t understand why comcast does this all the time.  It’s bad enough that I pay so much a month for your service and have been with u for 40 years and then u take my favorite network and want me to pay 10 dollars extra.

I'm sorry that this move has negatively effected you. That's never our intention. We regularly evaluate our channel lineups and sometimes make changes to ensure we're offering a wide variety of content at the best value. As part of those regular reviews, we decided to move INSP to these packages. The good news is that you can still watch similar programming without changing your TV package. By saying “Westerns” into your Xfinity Voice Remote or searching for “Westerns” On Demand, you can find a wide variety of content at your fingertips. If you want to keep INSP, you can get the More Sports & Entertainment Package

It's just disgusting that Xfinity is going to be charging for INSP (who doesn't charge Xfinity).  Just another disrespectful slap in the face to the older generation.

I just brought my 90 year old father back to his condo in Florida. All he wants to watch is one channel, which is INSP. We happily set up cable tv for 116 a month for this one channel to find it is gone and now we have to pay more? Broke my heart watching him say INSP in the remote and it won’t come up. Seriously? I can’t do internet because he will never figure that out, just can’t believe it, what a rip off.
