Will I see a credit on my bill for the loss of ABC? I was paying to have ABC before, and now you are not providing a core channel.

Will you be applying a credit to everyone's bill because you are not supplying a core channel. The price I am paying included ABC and you are not providing that channel.

Hello @user_xb5697 and thank you for posting on our Xfinity Community forum to express your concern.

The programming for ABC is currently unavailable in some areas because out agreement with the channel owner has expired as of 3/31.  We do pay channel owners in order to make them available to you, and we've made multiple reasonable offers to them in our attempts to retain the programming, which they have rejected.  We are working toward bringing these channels back if the channel owners will give us fair pricing, terms, and conditions for our customers.

While changes that can occur to your programming can be frustrating, we want to resolve this situation as quickly as possible.

For additional information you can visit https://www.xfinity.com/programmingchanges.

While we may not be able to provide a reduction in billing due to the loss of a channel, we can always take a look to see if any lower priced options are available to you that you could repackage to in order to lower your bill.  If you'd like to take a look at exploring that option, please let us know.

@XfinityCliff unbelievable!!! I am a senior and my ABC local affiliate, no longer available, was a channel I watched about 70% of my TV time. Comcast also failed to negotiate ABC in my area, a MAJOR network channel! The  loss of programming is exorbitant! I live in an area like millions of your customers where an antenna is NOT an option. I expect a credit for the loss of critical channels I was PAYING for on each bill until Comcast resolves this.

@XfinityCliff This is an unacceptable response from Xfinity.  I am paying a lot of money every month, but if Xfinity cannot even ensure it provides the three core channels of ABC, NBC, and CBS I'm done with Xfinity.

Want a sizeable bill reduction for loss of ABC .... really lousy service all around but this is the kicker... and way to expensive for the absence of credible customer service

Yes, this is completely ridiculous! No warning. All the channels I’ve recorded previous on ABC are now not available to watch. Not only was ABC something I paid for, I also pay for being able to record and watch the programs.
Come on Xfinity! I pay almost $300 a month and you’re telling me that the bill would go up if you kept ABC?? You are already way overpriced. Waiting for the new company to come into my market in a month or so. I’ve had Xfinity since the beginning of its existence. So very poor in customer service consistently. But this tops it!!!

I watch ABC exclusively for news  and occasionally ESPN and expecting credit for each day the impasse continues.
