Why is Antenna TV no longer available on xfinity?
None of the programs we enjoy are available now since Antenna TV was removed. Why take off this station?

Antenna TV is a broadcast network carried by a local TV station. If they drop or change affiliations to another network, there is nothing Comcast can do. Comcast just passes on what is aired. These changes most typically occur at the end/beginning of a month.

It looks like Comcast replaced Antenna TV with Get TV, because the local KSTP station is broadcasting Get TV on Channel 5-4 instead of Antenna TV. However, Antenna TV is now carried by local channel 23-6 (WUCW-DT6). The Comcast lineup includes WUCW-1, WUCW-2, and WUCW-3. Why can't Comcast add Antenna TV to its lineup? Antenna TV has much better programming than GET TV.

If they are broadcasting on a new subchannel on a different station, then Comcast and that station need to come to an agreement to add a new channel. That isn't always easy these days. ADDING channels is almost impossible.

I agree with user_fec2c7, AntennaTV has a much better lineup than GetTV. Hoping Xfinity will come to an agreement to add that channel back into the lineup considering it's a "free" digital antenna channel locally. I know in talking with friends there were many of us who appreciated the channel for its variety of classic sitcoms.

I get 50+ OTA channels here in the Twin Cities using an indoor amplified antenna.
An amplified roof antenna would work if you are a little farther from the metro area.
