Where is MeTV?

For the Pittsburgh, PA TV market, here is where you can see ME-TV:

On Comcast - channels 190. 207 and 1169.  

That's great for Pittsburgh.  We are in the Denver, CO metro area.

@TheVals Apologies and correct for the Denver area. 

If a Denver area broadcaster decides to offer/carry MeTV and also arranges to have it offered on Comcast then that service may return in your area. 

MeTV is carried on digital subchannels of affiliated broadcast television stations in most TV markets.  

Checking the MeTV website and entering in a Denver area zip code again this morning, shows that  > Denver - Comcast - Front Range is listed as "Coming"

Reading between the lines, it sounds like MeTV may be working with area TV stations to return MeTV to Denver. 

You can also contact MeTV directly here  https://www.metv.com/contact to see what they might tell you on their plans to return MeTV via a local  broadcast station in Denver.

@TheVals  yes you are, posted that info as well. Another customer in this thread asked about Pittsburgh. 

What is your ZIP Code? It would help in determining if any stations in that area carry MeTV.

@Jhoward4201 Apologies for the issue and experience that you described above. 

In the Atlanta area, MeTV programming can be viewed on channel 17 and in HD on channel 1032 in HD via local broadcaster WGTA-TV.

Are you seeing a black screen, blue screen or a screen with an error messages when you tune to that channel? Is this happening on your cable box (DTA) or online? Is another channel shpwing on Ch. 17? 

For Status Code 223
This error code is displayed while the channel map is loading, which causes it to be displayed longer than usual. After the channel map is downloaded, the TV Adapter is excpected to return to normal.

The on-screen message for Status Code 223 reads:

'The video signal has been interrupted. Please check the cable connection. If the problem continues for more than a few minutes, please call Comcast at 1-800-COMCAST (1-800-266-2278) for help. Sorry for the inconvenience.'

FYI!!!  For Denver and Front Range Comcast customers, MeTV is back!!!  Here is a copy of the email update I received today from MeTV:

Dear MeTV Denver Area Viewer,

Thank you for your previous email asking about viewing MeTV in the Denver area. We wanted to give you the latest viewing information and to let you know we are working to add more coverage of MeTV in the future. Your viewership is important to us and we have good news to share!
 

MeTV is now available on over the air channel 4.4.  You may need to rescan to receive channel 4.4 on your TV with your antenna.
 

MeTV is also now available on Xfinity1 channels  641 and 1005 HD.

(Please note not all Xfinity boxes may be able to receive the new channels, contact Xfinity for further information.)

I was also jumping on to share that MeTV is back. It is definitely broadcasting on 4.4 OTA, but channels 641 and 1005 are not on any of my HD boxes' listings yet. Hopefully soon.
