Where is Court TV????
court tv is just GONE! I pay for Comcast, so much money a month, and you got rid of one of the only channels I watch?! What’s going on? Why did court tv turn into grit tv? There’s ten channels like grit already, you are impeding our freedom of information & public knowledge slowly but surely.

If you are in the Chicago area, Comcast has NOTHING to do with this. CourtTV was being carried by WGN as one of their subchannels (9.3) that Comcast was passing on. WGN dropped Court TV and replaced it with Grit TV. Again, Comcast has NO CONTROL over what networks a local TV station airs.
Court TV is aired by WCPX (main network is Ion Television), but Comcast does not have an agreement to carry all of their subchannels (they have 7 subchannels!!)

As has been noted many times, if no local TV stations are carrying either network, then going to an antenna will make no difference.

Per previous posts, Court TV is carried by a local TV station. If they change anything, Comcast has no control. They can only pass on what is broadcast.

It's not always Comcast. You have to understand that there is constant negotiating to get the price that makes sense for Comcast and their viewers. Also, in some cases the programmer just makes a change to it's content. If you aren't happy you may need to call the station.

Same here, in Hamden, CT - one day recently Court TV just gone, replaced by GritTV.
My big complaint is WHY didn’t/doesn’t Comcast/Xfinity notify customers when changes/deletions are coming up. As a courtesy to all loyal customers (been with them for over 30 years!) why not let us know that a certain channel will no longer be available BEFORE it happens. Why let it come as a big shock/disappointment and make us post to community forums looking for an answer when they HAD to know it was coming.
Nothing in a paper monthly bill, nothing on the website, no email notifications, nothing at all.
It doesn’t matter that the problem is with a station that Comcast deals with made the decision - that’s not the point. I get it, Comcast wasn’t responsible-OK, but let us know beforehand - be upfront about it.
IMHO that’s just not right.
If any Comcast rep is reading this (and to all my fellow readers of this post) please reply and let all of us know why no advance notice was given.
Thank you.

As noted before, Comcast does not always know about changes made by local TV stations beforehand.

Comcast does know how many watch the channels. It’s about money. Which is fine. But it isn’t like they have no say. My problem is why didn’t they care about we the people who pay?

I found court tv on Pluto. Comcast treats Their customers horribly it is one of the worst, most corrupt companies I’ve ever dealt with. The constant price increases, lack of service, no discounts, monopoly, & removing many channels is so frustrating. I don’t really know why this Andy Ross person keeps sticking up for this awful company, probably a rep. They will always blame it on somebody else when they can. And there’s basically nowhere to report their practices and hold them accountable.

I just want it back on. Too old to download apps and do streaming. They provide free internet for some… raise our rates and takeaway our channels. No excuses. People who pay bills get [Edited: "Language"].
