Walter Presents - Missing Episodes/Seasons?

[This will be brief bec it's the third time I've tried to post it - each time I try to select a tag the page refreshes itself and my typing disappears.]

Please tell me how to contact "Walter Presents" re missing episodes/seasons on their app.

I'm doing the free trial thru Xfinity but so much expected content is missing that I probably won't subscribe even tho I reallyreallyreally want to. Wonderful shows!!

I understand that this isn't Xfinity's issue - probably? - but I'd like to know what can be done, if anything.

:)

(FYI: Watching on X1)

Hi @user_e31eb9_Robin_,

Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. We can most certainly see what kind of assistance we could provide. Would you be able to provide more detail such as which application/streaming service you are using and what content is not available? By providing us with as much detail as possible, it will help us pinpoint the issue to see what options are available. We hope to hear from you soon.

@XfinityDemitrius Hi! Thank you for helping!

I'm using an X1 set-top box.

When the Xfinity free week (April 8) for Walter Presents ended I clicked to start a free trial. The free week offered what appeared to be a selection of some series, some seasons, some episodes. I expected that the free trial would be for all of the series, all of the seasons, all of the episodes. But it appears to be only what was offered initially in the free week. Will that change when the free trial ends and the subscription begins?

I'm still trying to find a comprehensive list of Walter Presents content but so far all I can locate is the PBS list. I understand  that Walter Presents is "curated content" but I don't understand why the PBS version offers 5 episodes of a show and Xfinity offers only 2. That's just an example; I can cite more later today if that'll be helpful.

One other thing: the content is viewable thru what appears to be Xfinity OnDemand, not via an app. Is that how it will work once our subscription begins on 4/23? The reason I'm asking is that the functionality isn't as good as with other Xfinity OnDemand content.

Before I posted my request for help in this Forum I searched online & found a 3yr old post on Facebook (on the Walter Presents FB page) describing the same situation.  An Xfinity customer couldn't find expected episodes, etc. The Walter Presents reply was that Xfinity was responsible for content/functionality. That puzzled me bec I thought that providers were responsible for content availability, not Xfinity.

I have to stop now - will be back later - so I'll end with this: Walter Presents has some of the best TV shows we've ever seen! I'm soooo happy that Xfinity offers it!

:)

Thanks for getting back to us with that information @user_e31eb9_Robin_, very helpful. I definitely understand your concerns, and we want to help as much as possible. Please know we have no control over the content offered during the free week trial, that would all be through the TV Network. Sometimes TV networks and Streaming apps only provide certain content/episodes for free during the trial and once you fully subscribe, more or all content becomes available.

Just to confirm, when you signed up for the free trial, did it prompt you to create a login?

@XfinityAmira

Hi!! I was just getting ready to log out, saw your reply - thank you!!

OK - so once the subscription starts, the content ought to be there. If not we'll try to contact Walter Presents directly.

Re the free trial: No login. Just a click to subscribe. I took photos of the TV screen the day I did that, if you'd like to see what it looked like. I also have shots from today. Are we allowed to post photos here?

We appreciate your patience when working with us on this platform @user_e31eb9_Robin_. Please be sure to reach out and work with us at your convenience, we will be here. After some further digging, I was able to locate some more information regarding the Walter Presents subscription. That subscription is an Internet Subscription Video On Demand (iSVOD) Service. iSVOD channels are individual On-Demand networks that you can subscribe to in addition to your Xfinity TV service. These channels require both Xfinity X1 and Xfinity Internet services and are only delivered through your X1 TV Box.

Please also note that after the seven-day free trial, you will automatically be subscribed to the service, and you'll receive an email confirming your subscription Billing cycles are 31 days and begin on day eight after the seven-day free trial. Please follow this link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/subscribe-unsubscribe-from-isvod, for more information.

Hi!!

Thank you very much for clarifying that, @XfinityAmira - we're enjoying Walter Presents so much that I'll continue past the free trial!

Also, many thanks for the link. I  wasn't aware of that list of iSVOD channels. Some of them look very interesting!!

Being able to get help this way from patient & knowledgeable people like you and @XfinityDemitrius is one of the primary reasons we've been Xfinity customers for decades. Thank you for being there and for doing what you do.
