Trying to activate my premium peacock subscription via Xfinity Streamstore

I’ve been trying to activate my Peacock Premium subscription through Xfinity for the past few days and keep running into the same issue with no resolution.

On this page: https://customer.xfinity.com/membership it shows that I’ve already claimed my Peacock Premium and all I need is to "activate" it. However, when I go to https://www.xfinity.com/yoursubscriptions and click “Activate”  next to the Premium Peacock button I get this error every time:

Something unexpected happened. Please close this pop-up and try again. If the problem persists, try again later.

I’ve contacted support multiple times, and each time I’m sent to this link: https://customer.xfinity.com/activate-peacock which says I don’t qualify for the offer. That’s clearly incorrect, and agents have confirmed I’m eligible and that I do have that offer under my account. 

The last rep told me to contact Peacock support, but I don’t even have a Peacock account yet, activation has to go through Xfinity first.

At this point, this appears to be an issue on Xfinity’s end and I am just being told different things via their reps. Has anyone else experienced this, did anyone find a solution?

Same problem here, no luck so far, sorry. The website and app are both too wonky to use with mobile, so I'll have to go to a store.
